The historic fairgrounds speedway has been a place for the community to gather since first opening in 1891. As a part of the renovation of this historic property, Bristol Motor Speedway will make improvements to make the speedway a multipurpose, community venue that will continue to serve the neighborhood for generations. An improved speedway could host all types of events including local meetings and festivals, charity events, product launches, productions and celebrations.
